Human Resources Manager
Job Overview
The Human Resources Manager provides day-to-day support across all shifts and maintains visibility throughout the workforce. As a key member of our leadership team, this role drives initiatives that support our employees, creates a positive and productive workplace and aligns HR practices with business goals and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and off boarding for both hourly and salaried employees.
Oversee workplace conflicts, conduct investigations, and address employee concerns.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related issues
Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other employee perks
Participate in management meetings, providing HR insights and support on workforce-related issues including safety.
Handle workers' compensation, FMLA, and leave of absence information.
Maintain HR systems and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Develop and implement company HR policies and programs.
Partner and deliver training programs
Conduct workplace safety assessments in accordance with OSHA regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
A strong understanding of human resources management principles.
Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR compliance regulations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of payroll processing.
Ability to be on-site in an office as well as manufacturing/plant environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to employee and operational needs.
Proficiency in Spanish preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
