Are you a board-certified or board-eligible Urology Physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania? A facility near Middleport, PA, is seeking coverage for inpatient urology services. Position Overview Schedule: 1-2 weekends per month. Coverage from Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM. Responsibilities: Handle consultations from the emergency department and hospital. Perform surgeries in the main OR. Manage urology-specific cases including gross hematuria, stones, urine retention, and difficult catheter insertions. Patient Information Age Range: Adolescents (16+) to geriatrics. Patient Volume: Average of 2-4 new consults per day. Requirements Licenses & Certifications: Active Pennsylvania medical license. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology. BLS and ACLS certifications. DEA and Pennsylvania CSR. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in general urology care. Preferred: Familiarity with Epic EMR. Additional Details Privileges: Must be secured before start date (~60 days). Orientation: 16 hours of non-billable orientation provided. Vaccination Requirements: Proof of flu vaccine or an approved exemption. Compensation & Benefits Rates: Competitive hourly and call-back rates.
