This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical depth with people management and delivery accountability.Primary ResponsibilitiesSprint Execution & DeliveryLead sprint execution with the scrum team; participate in daily scrum callsEnsure the team meets sprint goals (committed deliverables) and quality standards (defect reduction)Serve as the first point of escalation for delivery and quality challenges during sprint executionTeam & Resource ManagementOwn resource planning, forecasting, and onboarding of new team members (software setup, technical KT)Drive team building, development, and continuous improvementTechnical LeadershipSizing and estimation for new initiatives, projects, and backlog featuresCollaborate with technical architecture teams on design for new projects and featuresPartner with Product Owners/Product Managers to understand product vision, objectives, and metricsCreate and maintain effective software delivery frameworks that ensure qualityEstablish and enforce code review processes, adherence to coding standardsEstablish automated quality control processes (CI/CD pipelines including standards checks, automated functional, security, and performance testing)Ensure technical design and code are maintainable, reusable, scalable, and performantRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience in software engineeringProven experience in software delivery managementExperience managing a team of software engineersStrong technical background in Java, Spring Boot, React JS, or comparable modern tech stacksExperience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologiesHands-on experience establishing CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practicesDipendra GuptaTechnical RecruiterDipendra.gupta@programmers.ai
