Front End Loader Operator – Heavy Civil Industry We are seeking a skilled Front End Loader Operator to join our team in the heavy civil construction industry. This role is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move, load, and transport materials on infrastructure and large-scale construction projects.Responsibilities Operate front end loader to move materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and debris on heavy civil job sitesLoad trucks, hoppers, and conveyors efficiently and accuratelySupport site development, roadwork, utility, and grading operationsPerform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after useMonitor material quantities and ensure proper stockpiling proceduresFollow site plans, grade stakes, and instructions from supervisorsAdhere to all company and OSHA safety standards at all timesCommunicate effectively with supervisors, truck drivers, and other crew membersMaintain a clean and organized work areaIdentify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptlyQualifications Proven experience operating a front end loader in a heavy civil or construction environmentFamiliarity with earthwork, grading, and site development operations preferredAbility to read and interpret site plans and grade stakesStrong understanding of safety procedures and regulationsValid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not requiredAbility to work in various weather and site conditionsGood hand-eye coordination and attention to detailPhysical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipmentCapable of climbing in and out of heavy machineryAbility to lift up to 50 pounds when necessaryComfortable working in outdoor environments with varying conditions
