Join our talent pipeline and be the first to be notified when we have new projects!Position SummaryThe Foreman for Substation Construction is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of substation construction projects across various locations nationwide. This role will ensure that construction activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The Foreman will lead a team of skilled workers, provide technical guidance, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of construction crews engaged in substation construction and related projectsEnsure all construction work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standardsInterpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules to ensure that work is completed accurately and on timeManage daily site operations, including delegating tasks, overseeing work quality, and resolving conflictsConduct regular inspections of work in progress to monitor compliance with safety and quality standardsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are metPrepare daily reports on project progress, including labor hours, materials used, and any issues encounteredTrain and mentor crew members on proper techniques, safety practices, and equipment useEnsure equipment and tools are maintained in safe and operational condition. Assist in the recruitment and training of new construction personnel as neededRequirementsPosition QualificationsRequired:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in substation construction or a related fieldPrevious experience in a supervisory or foreman role preferredStrong understanding of electrical systems, high-voltage equipment, and construction processesExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsValid driver's license and willingness to travel nationwide as neededAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specificationsKnowledge of OSHA safety regulations and practicesAbility to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasksWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as requiredPreferred:Experience with project management software and documentationCertifications in OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, or electrical safety are a plusStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectivelyBenefitsMedicalDentalVision401k
