Director of Sales The Director of Sales provides strategic leadership for group sales, catering, banquets, meetings, special events, and motorcoach programs within the casino and hotel environment. This position works closely with hotel operations, food & beverage, marketing, and transportation teams to maximize revenue opportunities and position the property as a premier destination for group travel and entertainment. The Director is responsible for contract oversight, team leadership, financial performance, and developing strong relationships with clients, tour operators, and key business partners. Responsibilities Drive revenue growth through group room bookings, catering, banquet sales, meetings, special events, and motorcoach programs. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand group business and increase motorcoach and tour operator partnerships. Review, negotiate, and approve sales and catering contracts to ensure profitability and compliance with company standards. Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and catering team through coaching, training, and performance management. Oversee planning and execution of events to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional guest experiences. Build and maintain relationships with group planners, travel partners, motorcoach operators, and key accounts. Monitor departmental financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and revenue goal attainment. Partner with marketing teams to create promotions and packages that attract group and motorcoach business. Ensure high standards of guest service throughout all sales, catering, and event operations. Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and business data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality or hotel industry required. Minimum 5 years of sales experience required. Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience required. Casino industry experience preferred. Experience with motorcoach programs and tour operator partnerships required. Strong understanding of hotel and casino operations. Ability to analyze group business performance and financial data. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license required.
