Sr. Operations Project Manager
How will you make an impact?The Senior Operations Project Manager will lead large, high-complexity, cross-company initiatives including Bluefield (Brownfield) programs within existing facilities and future Greenfield site or line deployments. This role provides end-to-end accountability for planning and execution across Jabil, customer, and third-party partners and is based onsite at one of our manufacturing facilities in Florence, Kentucky. The position requires strong leadership of multi-functional teams, structured stakeholder coordination, and ownership of schedule, scope, quality, cost, and customer commitments, with sufficient technical understanding to support process setup and automation deployment.What will you do?Work onsite at the Florence, KY facility to support day-to-day execution, stakeholder alignment, and issue resolutionLead complex Bluefield (Brownfield) projects and transition to future Greenfield (New Product) initiativesEnsure project requirements and objectives are clearly defined, aligned, and translated into executable plansBuild and lead cross-functional teams across Jabil, customer organizations, and external vendorsServe as primary interface with customers, third-party partners, executive sponsors, and internal stakeholdersDevelop and manage integrated project plans including milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation actionsAlign teams to customer and business needs by establishing clear goals, deliverables, and success metricsDrive execution to meet scope, schedule, quality, and cost targetsTrack and manage project KPIs, risks, issues, and corrective actionsProvide regular project status reporting including progress, variances, and recovery plansCoordinate resource capacity planning and support budget and staffing forecastsPartner with engineering, automation, and operations teams to support process setup, line readiness, and automation installationDrive continuous improvement through lessons learned, metrics analysis, and best practice sharingDemonstrate strong customer focus and effective decision-making in high-pressure environmentsEnsure compliance with Jabil policies, procedures, and security requirementsPerform other duties as assignedNo direct people management responsibilityHow Will You Get Here?Required Knowledge & Skills:Proven experience leading Bluefield (Brownfield) and Greenfield projects in manufacturing or operations environmentsStrong technical aptitude to understand manufacturing process flows, line setup, and production readinessWorking knowledge of server and rack assembly processes preferredExperience supporting automation deployment including robots, cobots, or semi-automated manufacturing systems preferredAbility to translate technical concepts into executable project plans across engineering, operations, and external partnersAbility to navigate complex stakeholder environments across regions, functions, and company boundariesWorking knowledge of Jabil operating policies, culture, and guiding principles preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and project reporting toolsEducation & Experience:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field requiredMaster’s degree preferredMinimum 10 years of project or program management experience in complex, cross-functional environments OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
