Surgical Tech/First Assist - PRN

We provide Exceptional care for surgical patients and are looking for caring and knowledgeable team member to join us! Provides direct support to surgeons during surgical procedures. Positioning and prepping patients prior to surgery, ensuring clear visibility for the surgeon by using instruments such as retractors and sponges, controlling bleeding, closing surgery sites using sutures or staples and properly dressing wounds. They also collaborate with doctors and other surgical team members to ensure proper post-operative care of patients. High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a certified surgical technician program and a recognized first assistant training program. Diploma or transcripts for each will be required upon hire. Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) is required upon hire. At least one year experience as a surgical tech is required.
