AGC Electronics America (AGCEA) manufactures high-purity Silicon Carbide (SiC) Ceramics materials and CMP Slurries for the semiconductor industry. We also serve as a distributor for other AGC Electronics Materials manufactured in Japan and elsewhere. We are headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA, and are a division of AGC Flat Glass North America.
What We Offer
Swing Shift (2:15 – 10:45 PM)
$17.05 - $20.89 per hour + 10% shift differential

About The Role
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Beginner proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and use of web browsers
Basic proficiency in reading blueprints
Willing and able to work overtime as necessary
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when on the manufacturing floor
Proficiency in English to read, write and comprehend instructions and safety protocols
Must be able to work in a variety of positions such as sitting, standing, bending, and moving between workstations for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
6 months related manufacturing experience
Previous experience in assembly
Previous experience in the semiconductor industry
Responsibilities:
Completes Special Process Operator Certification for Joining.
Manually shapes components to precise blueprint specifications using a variety of sanding instruments.
Utilizes fixtures, measuring devices, and gauge blocks to setup and prepare assembled products to precise blueprint specifications.
Using joining techniques, connects assembled product by precision application of slurry in joints using fine paintbrush.
Manually finishes joints to conceal and complete joining process.
Measures joined products to verify specifications.
Places completed products on block supports to minimize deformation.
