We have the ability to ship our custom products throughout the United States. We also erect our products on job sites throughout the Southeastern US.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Miscellaneous Steel Fitter/Welder to join our growing team in Orlando. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting and assembling various steel structures according to blueprints and specifications while maintaining high safety and quality standards.Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirementsMeasure, cut, and fit steel components according to specificationsAlign and weld steel components to create structural assembliesVerify measurements and alignments using precision measuring toolsInstall miscellaneous steel items such as stairs, handrails, and support structuresMaintain quality control standards throughout the fitting processInspect completed work to ensure compliance with specificationsFollow all safety protocols and proceduresCoordinate with other trades and team members on project requirementsMaintain tools and equipment in proper working conditionQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent2-3 years of experience in steel fitting and fabricationValid welding certificationCurrent OSHA safety certificationProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawingsStrong knowledge of various welding techniques and proceduresExperience with steel fitting tools and measuring equipmentPhysical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positionsKnowledge of industry safety standards and quality control proceduresStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood communication and teamwork skillsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payJob LocationOrlando, Florida
