AutoCAD Drafter/Designer

Job Summary We are currently seeking a talented AutoCAD Detailer/Drafter to join our team. As a CAD Drafter/Detailer, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed technical drawings and plans using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. You will work alongside our fabrication, machining departments to create detailed steel/metal drawings and burn templates for production and repair. We currently run AutoCAD 2020. Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm Responsibilities/Duties AutoCAD experience is required, Solid Works experience may be helpful along with other detailing/design programs. Successful candidates must have steel fabrication detailing experience and knowledge of the different types of materials, bolts, and hardware used in the steel and machining industry. Candidates must be able to read design drawings and generate complete fabrication drawings with Bills of Material, all required dimensions, and weld symbols. Applicants must have strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills as well as high quality mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
