Office Manager - Accounting Experience Required
DescriptionKunes Auto Group, one of the largest and fastest-growing automotive dealership groups in the Midwest, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead dealership accounting operations and administrative functions. With continued expansion and a strong growth trajectory, this role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to financial performance, operational excellence, and team development.The Office Manager is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing dealership accounting processes, ensuring compliance with financial controls, and driving efficiency across office operations. This individual will also provide leadership to office staff and partner closely with leadership to support overall business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all dealership accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance and financial reportingPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements and ensure timely, accurate close processesReconcile bank accounts, schedules, and financial statementsMonitor cash flow, daily deposits, and overall financial health of the dealershipProcess payroll, including commissions, draws, and bonus structures, ensuring accuracy and complianceReview and approve expenses in alignment with company policiesConduct deal reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal controlsLead, coach, and develop 2 Office Admins to ensure high performance and accountabilityRequirementsMinimum of 5+ years of Office Management experience, in an automotive dealership or similar high-volume environment required.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teamsDemonstrated expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger managementHigh level of financial acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong experience with Excel requiredExceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to learn new things quicklyAbility to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with dealership management systems (preferred but not required)Ability to work Mon - Fri 8:00 - 5:00.Ability to work after hours and weekends (Sat and Sun) during month end close.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: up to $75,000 annually based on experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company participationPaid Time Off (PTO)Employee vehicle purchase discountsOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesCareer advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing organizationWhy Join Kunes Auto Group?At Kunes Auto Group, we are committed to fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and operational excellence.
