Dishwasher / Janitor

Job Summary THE HOURS OF THIS JOB ARE 9:30-5:30 WEDNESDAY - SUNDAY. MONDAY AND TUESDAY OFF :) We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher / Janitor to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment within our restaurant or hospitality facility. The ideal candidate will support food service operations by ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met, contributing to a positive experience for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in food handling, cleaning, or hospitality is a plus. Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and restrooms through regular cleaning and sanitation Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas during busy periods Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and food handling Ensure proper storage of clean dishes and supplies according to safety standards Maintain organized workspaces to promote efficiency and safety Mop the floors at the end of the day. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of cleaning procedures, kitchen operations, and food handling practices is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong work ethic with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and teamwork Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward guest service and team collaboration Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour Work Location: In person
