Position: Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60–$125/hour
Location: RemoteRole Responsibilities
Develop design problems from past work, including loads, constraints, and tolerances, to evaluate AI model attempts. Grade model-written analyses by assessing failure modes, assumptions, and safety factor applications. Identify discrepancies where model designs meet calculations but fail in practice due to manufacturability, installation, or standards. Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality and model performance. Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and improve AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
A degree in an engineering discipline with professional design or analysis experience.
Clear written communication skills for explaining reasoning.
Comfort with ambiguous tasks and willingness to flag unclear instructions.
