Heavy AssemblerLocation: 225 Talbot Boulevard, Chestertown, MD 21620Work Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through FridayPay Range: $18 to $20 per hourThe Dixon Group is looking for is looking for a Heavy Assembler to join our Dixon Specialty Products division in Chestertown, MD! of skilled professionals who build and test industrial equipment that powers industries worldwide. At this location, you will be insulating, armoring, and testing small to large bore hoses. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.What You'll Do:Insulate, armor and test small and large bore hosesAssemble heavy machinery components according to specifications and blueprintsUse hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasksPerform quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure functionality and safetyCollaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly challengesDocument assembly processes and report discrepancies or concerns to supervisorsPrepare and package parts for shipment according to company standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all company safety protocols and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking for:Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing of heavy equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsProficient with hand and power toolsAble to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelyPreferred:Technical certification in a related fieldWelding experience is a strong plus - Entry level Mig & Tig weldingExposure to sandblasting, grinding wheels, paint boothsWhat We Offer:Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your familyCompetitive salaryBonus programs401K retirement planTraining opportunitiesTuition reimbursementPaid vacation, PTO, and holidaysGym reimbursements, and more!Join us and be a part of a team that values your contributions and supports your goals!The Dixon Group is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices and laws.
