Applicants that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.SciTec is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee execution of complex, mission-critical software systems within a defense environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that end-to-end design, development, system integration, verification, and validation efforts are executed with rigor, aligned to program objectives, and delivered on schedule and within budget.The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing software-intensive defense programs, with the ability to coordinate across technical teams, customers, primes, and subcontractors; manage cost, schedule, and risk; and drive execution in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.ResponsibilitiesLead planning and execution of design, development, integration and test activities across the program lifecycleDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, including budget, schedule, resources, and dependenciesIdentify, assess, and mitigate program risksDrive change management activities, including analysis of impacts to scope, schedule, and costDrive growth through ECP proposals and negoatiationsSupport technical leadership in requirements management, roadmap alignment, and execution planningPrepare and deliver program status reports, translating technical progress into actionable insights for leadership and customersManage stakeholder relationships, including government customers, subcontractors, and internal leadershipIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and program execution qualitySupport program reviews, demonstrations, and external engagementsOversee EVMS activities, ensuring compliance with earned value requirements and accurate performance measurementLead CSDR management, including planning, coordination, and delivery of required cost and software data reporting artifactsManage overall program financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost‑control initiativesPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree, preferred with a STEM or Business focus15+ years of professional experience in software development project managementExperience with Earned Value Management in Defense industryExperience managing large, complex software or systems integration programsExperience with resource planning and staffing across multi-disciplinary teams Strong problem-solving skills in complex, technical environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to achieve DoD security clearance Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:Active DoD security clearanceExperience managing subcontractors and external partners Experience supporting mission systems, space, or missile warning programsResumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employment.Colorado Residents: In any materials you submit, you may redact or remove age-identifying information such as age, date of birth, or dates of school attendance or graduation.
