This role is integral in supporting the clinic team to provide a compassionate, seamless care experience for our patients.Primary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate patient rooming and flow in a fast-paced clinic environmentSupport providers with procedures and anticipate their clinical needsPerform patient intakes, including vital signs, vision/hearing screenings, and documentationAdminister vaccines and single-dose medicationsClean and stock exam rooms and maintain clinic cleanliness and safety standardsCommunicate with patients and families via phone calls and patient portal messagesCollaborate with providers, nurses, and support teams to ensure high-quality careExhibit professionalism and sound judgment within the scope of roleParticipate in ongoing training, projects, and quality improvement initiativesPerform lab-related tasks.Promote atmosphere of patient care and customer service excellence, respecting patient rights, confidentiality, diversity, and developmental needsOther duties assigned by management.Requirements Commitment to a minimum of 1.5 years in this position Prior healthcare or pediatric experience is a plus, but not requiredAbility to obtain Medical Assistant – Registered (MA-R) credential (sponsored by Allegro Pediatrics)Must adhere to all Allegro Pediatrics employee health screening policies The person in this position must always demonstrate professionalism and integrityProficient computer skillsExcellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent interpersonal/people skills Strong organizational/multi-tasking skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentReliable transportation and flexibility to work across multiple clinic locationsMust be 18 years of age or olderPre-Employment Requirements:Background checkDrug testing in compliance with Washington State Bill 5123 for this safety-sensitive position.
