Business Office Manager

Durango Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Business Office Manager to join our dynamic leadership team. As the Business Office Manager, you’ll play a central role in managing the financial operations of the facility, including billing and resident trust accounts while supporting both staff and residents with professionalism and care. You will work closely with the facility’s leadership team to ensure smooth administrative operations and regulatory compliance, with ongoing opportunities for professional growth and development. This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified. Position Title: Business Office Manager Job Type: Full-Time Location: Durango, CO Pay: $85,000-$108,000 per year. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience. Key Responsibilities: Manage resident billing, collections, and trust accounts accurately and in a timely manner Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations Collaborate with the admissions team to verify insurance coverage and coordinate benefits Supervise and support front office staff as needed Assist the Administrator and other departments with budgeting and financial reporting Qualifications: Previous experience in a business office or healthcare administrative role Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal skills Benefits: 401(k) with employer matching contribution Exceptional health and welfare benefits including medical, vision, dental, disability coverage including coverage for eligible dependents.
