Upscale Café Kitchen & Coffee Specialist | Smoothie Bowls, Matcha, & Toast

This is a hands-on role where every team member learns the full menu — from smoothie bowls and toast to coffee and matcha. We’re a small team that moves quickly and cares about the details. Our business hours are Monday - Saturday 8-4 and Sundays 9-3. Please refrain from applying for a position if you are not available to start by 10am. We are a locally-owned, fast-casual, wellness-centric restaurant located in Latham + Clifton Park, NY. Our made-to-order menu consists of smoothies, smoothie bowls, toasts, oatmeals, breakfast sandwiches + gourmet café drinks. Our ideal candidate to join our team is someone who takes initiative, has the ability to confidently engage with customers, displays excellent discernment and reliability, efficiently + mindfully problem solves, expresses a multifaceted skill set, and represents the Fruit Loop brand with strength + dignity. As a team member, your responsibilities will include : Provide exceptional customer service + cater to customer needs Establish solid competency in all menu items + steps of preparation Collaborate with team members to efficiently prepare menu items on order tickets while operating with a sense of urgency + cleanliness. Perform shop opening + closing tasks Complete daily tasks + prep work in a timely manner Maintain shop + workstation cleanliness Qualifications Prior experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus! Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-pace environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas. Excellent communication skills and a warm, friendly demeanor towards customers and fellow team members.
