Responsibilities
Lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development tailored to infants and toddlers
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by maintaining proper classroom management and hygiene practices
Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and individual needs to inform ongoing care strategies
Communicate regularly with families about their child's milestones, daily experiences, and developmental goals
Incorporate best practices in caregiving, including infant care techniques such as feeding routines, diapering, and soothing methods
Collaborate with team members to create inclusive activities that support children with diverse abilities or special needs
Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and health & safety protocols related to childcare and daycare operations
Requirements
Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying or babysitting roles
Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to nurture positive behavior management strategies
Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members effectively
Demonstrated ability to create engaging activities that foster learning through play and exploration
Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for young children
Passion for caregiving, teaching, and supporting early childhood growth
