Director of Membership Development

Role DescriptionThe Director of Membership Development is a full-time, on-site role located in Ottawa, ON. This position involves leading initiatives to grow and retain TECHNATION's membership, building strong relationships with current and prospective members, and identifying opportunities for collaboration. The director will develop and execute strategies for membership growth, manage member engagement activities, and represent TECHNATION at industry events and meetings. Additionally, they will collaborate with internal teams to ensure membership value and address members' needs effectively.QualificationsA minimum of 5-7 years of progressive account management leadership, membership sales and business development experience in a membership organizationStrong track record for growing customers/membership engagementProven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targetsExperience selling to a range of company sizesExceptional influence, communications, and relationship building skills resulting in strong relationships and enhanced member engagement with key member leaders and stakeholders, and the broader membership communityHas an ability to inspire, engage, and influence others to achieve desired objectives, as well as to promote and expand an organization's influence and impactExperience in diversifying revenue streams and identifying non dues revenue opportunities to ensure fiscal health and support membership growth and engagementJ-18808-Ljbffr
