Entry Level Construction Materials Testing TechnicianWe are a Phoenix-based geotechnical engineering firm that conducts course of construction materials testing and observation services (concrete, soils and asphalt) for several market segments such as multi-family residential, commercial, industrial, retail, educational facilities, hospitals, churches, custom homes, assisted living care facilities, etc.Vann Engineering, Inc. will provide you with:on-going on-the-job training for soils, concrete and asphalt testing & observationtraining for all paperwork preparationample opportunity to earn technical certifications for ACI (field), ATTI (field) and nuclear density gauge use (further certifications can be earned as interest and experience develops)We ask that you provide:an interest in beginning a new career in course of construction materials testing and geotechnical engineeringa positive attitudea strong work ethicthe ability to self start, work independently and function as a supportive member of a teama clean driving recordgood math skillsgood communication / social skillsfamiliarity with MS Office suitethe ability to work outdoors, year-roundthe ability to lift, carry and maneuver 30-50 poundsRequirements & Skills:· High school diploma or GED·· Clean driving recordBenefits & Compensation:· Hourly $17.00 - $20.00 depending upon experience· Medical, dental, vision and life insurance· 401KCompany DescriptionVann Engineering, Inc. has been in business for 45 years.
