Job Description DescriptionAs a Surgical Technologist you assist in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established federal, state and accreditation standards and facility policies and procedures. You will assist the nurses and physicians in delivering the highest standard of patient care available.ScheduleMonday-Friday 6:45am-variable end time What you will be doingOrganize equipment, instruments and supplies for cases according to patient needs and physician preferenceAnticipate the needs of the physician and have equipment, instrumentation, medical gases and supplies readily available for all proceduresTrouble-shoot equipment problems and ensure all equipment is functioning before useKeep surgical suites clean, tidy, free of soiled equipment and supplies and properly stockedWear appropriate attire in restricted areasDemonstrate knowledge of sterile processing standards and practices along with safe care and handling of instrumentationAssist with inventory managementWhat you knowRequiredProof of ID and right to work in the United StatesExperience working in an operating roomBLS certifiedDesiredTwo (2) or more years of hospital operating room experienceWhat you will receiveCompetitive wagesRobust benefit package including medical, dental, life and disability (short- and long-term) insuranceGenerous paid time off (PTO) programSeven (7) company paid holidays401(k) retirement plan with company matchAn organization focused on People, Passion, Purpose and ProgressInspirational culture
