School-Based SLP | Norwalk, Connecticut

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Norwalk, CT, serving students from Pre-K through 6th grade. This full-time contract position is set within a single school building and offers a caseload that includes students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a strong possibility for contract renewal for the 2026-2027 school year.Responsibilities:Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for Pre-K to 6th grade students.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs, including those with ASD.Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.Qualifications:Valid state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Experience working within school settings, preferably with Pre-K to 6th grade students.Strong knowledge and experience managing caseloads that include ASD.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Location: Norwalk, CTThis role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of young learners in a supportive school environment.
