Vertical Wrapper Operator - 3rd Shift

U.S. Waffle Company, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Vertical Wrapper Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining vertical packaging equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality finished products.The ideal candidate will monitor production lines, troubleshoot equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and work closely with team members to meet daily production goals. This role plays a critical part in maintaining food safety and quality standards, including compliance with SQF, GMP, and HACCP requirements.Key Responsibilities Set up and operate vertical wrapping machines according to product specificationsAdjust machine settings (film size, tension, tube size, etc.) to ensure proper operationMonitor production lines and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtimePerform routine and preventive maintenance on equipmentAssist with changeovers, including moving materials and equipmentInspect products and packaging to ensure quality standards are metCommunicate effectively with Production Leads and team membersMaintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shiftReduce waste and report any product or equipment issuesFollow all safety procedures and OSHA regulationsEnsure compliance with food safety standards (SQF, GMP, HACCP)Support team goals and contribute to a positive work environmentQualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious manufacturing or machine operation experience preferredBasic math and mechanical skills requiredAbility to troubleshoot equipment and solve problems independentlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentGood communication skills: bilingual is a plusPhysical Requirements Ability to lift 50–70 lbs regularlyFrequent standing, walking, bending, and liftingAbility to work in hot, cold, and dusty environmentsWillingness to work overtime and weekends as neededWhy Join Us?
