Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This is a 5-day work week position and will have you home every day.ResponsibilitiesOperate and drive a Class A commercial vehicle, including refrigerated trailers.Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with regulations.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness.Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo transported.Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues encountered during route driving.Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road.SkillsProficient in manual transmission operation.Experience with refrigerated trailers and freight handling.Strong truck driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.Previous delivery driver experience is required.Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatch and team members.
