Sales Coordinator

Role: Sales Coordinator (Sales Support / Sales Operations)Location: Farmington Hills, MI — Hybrid (2 days/week in office)Pay: $18–$20.62/hr (depending on experience)Duration: Contract (W2 with benefits) — 12 monthsHours: 40/week | No travelOur client has engaged us in a search for a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to act as a vital liaison between our sales team, cross-functional departments, customers, and factories. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will support sales operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and contribute to the company’s growth.Key Responsibilities:Customer and Internal Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, factories, and internal teams.Order Processing & Coordination: Manage order intake via EDI and manual methods, verify order accuracy, and communicate with factories and MRP systems to ensure timely fulfillment.Documentation & Record Keeping: Process orders, credits, debits, returns, export requests, and inventory transfers. Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to company policies.Shipment & Delivery Management: Track shipment status, respond to delivery inquiries, and coordinate expediting or change requests to meet customer deadlines.Inventory & Sales Support: Collaborate with internal departments to support inventory planning, sales initiatives, and marketing efforts while adhering to internal controls and policies.Customer Problem Resolution: Act as the point of contact for resolving sales-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining professionalism.Administrative Duties: Prepare reports, compile statistical data, handle correspondence, and support the credit department with documentation for chargebacks and proof of deliveries.Qualifications & Skills:Experience: Minimum of 4 years in customer service, sales support, or sales operations, preferably within automotive or manufacturing sectors.Education: High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Technical Proficiency: Experience with SAP and familiarity with customer EDI systems is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
