If you take pride in your work, enjoy problem-solving, and want to be part of a team that brings customer designs to life, we’re ready to support your development.JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Design Drafter / Engineer, you will support the design and development of tooling used to produce metal stampings. This role bridges engineering and production—translating customer designs into functional tooling, programs, and processes that can be built and run efficiently on the shop floor.Core ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain tooling designs using CAD software (primarily SolidWorks)Develop detailed drawings for new tooling and tool modificationsSupport the transition and standardization of design systems and softwareGenerate CNC programs and support machining processesCollaborate with engineering and production to ensure designs are manufacturableInterpret customer prints and translate them into tooling concepts and designsAssist in building routers and documentation for production processesRevise and improve existing designs for efficiency, quality, and performanceGrowth OpportunitiesTake on increasing ownership of tooling design and developmentSupport continuous improvement and standardization effortsGrow into a lead engineering or advanced design role over timeJOB DETAILSSalary Range: $60,000 - $80,000Hours: First ShiftABOUT WINCO STAMPINGAt Winco Stamping, we deliver On-Time, Quality Metal Stampings, and our passion lies in Forming Metals & Relationships!
