If you possess a strong attention to detail, a passion for learning, and thrive in a collaborative environment, you may find this opportunity aligns perfectly with your career aspirations.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Paralegal II, Your Main Duties Will IncludeProviding comprehensive support to in-house attorneys during the discovery and litigation phases.Maintaining accurate databases and documentation relevant to business transactions and litigation cases.Assisting in the preparation of legal documents and litigation reports.Managing individual litigation cases from initiation to the drafting of discovery requests and responses.Addressing legal inquiries and information requests, while collaborating with your supervisor as necessary.Undertaking special projects and proofreading legal documents to ensure grammatical and substantive accuracy.Required SkillsTo excel in this role, candidates should possess:A solid understanding of corporate contracts and healthcare regulations.Familiarity with complex litigation processes.Proficiency in office equipment (phone, computer, fax, copier/scanner).Advanced skills in Windows PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, WordPerfect, Outlook, Excel, OneNote, Skype, and Adobe.A thorough knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures.Excellent judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage professionally with attorneys, executives, and staff at all levels.Self-motivation and the capability to work independently with minimal supervision on complex tasks.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:A college degree and/or a paralegal certificate.Between 5 to 7 years of paralegal experience within a corporate legal department or law firm, or a comparable combination of education and experience.Career Growth OpportunitiesJoining our organization not only offers a chance to be part of a dedicated team, but it also provides you with avenues for professional development and career advancement within the dynamic healthcare sector.Company Culture and ValuesWe pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that values diversity and inclusivity. Additionally, there is a target bonus of 10% available for this role. The complete hourly pay range is \(37.20 to \)60.60.This position is fully remote, providing flexibility to promote a healthy work-life balance.Employment Type: Full-Time
