Corporate Safety Manager
We are seeking a Corporate Safety Manager for our team.
How will you play an integral role?
The Corporate Safety Manager provides leadership and guidance to the organization in health, safety, risk management, ADA, Workers Compensation, and OSHA compliance while enhancing the safety culture and awareness to drive safety performance.

High Attention to Detail – Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all safety-health related programs, documentation, and reporting.
Analytical Skillset – Ability to analyze safety, operational, and compliance data to identify trends, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, implement, and evaluate safety and health programs & procedures, which meet or exceed all government compliance requirements while holding employees accountable for safety
Consult with employees and managers to reduce hazards and associated risks within the organization while reducing the work-related injury and illness cost incurred
Deliver oversight of the worker’s compensation program to ensure claims processing and closure occur within a timely manner. Represent the organization at mediations, and hearings as necessary
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes of HR, OSHA, ADA, and EEOC policies/programs
Develop benchmarks, metrics and success indicators for the corporation’s safety performance
Create and deliver training materials and safety communications to drive safety awareness and improvements
Serve as an advisor to management and employees for safety and health concerns while providing guidance for remediation and resolution
Administer safety and housekeeping inspections at each plant location, recommend improvement plans, and provide reporting matrix
Has oversight and accountability for evaluating and approving the safety of new equipment and chemicals before entering the work environment to ensure safety and health risk are eliminated or minimized with controls
Consult with outside counsel as needed for complex safety, OSHA, ADA and Worker’s Compensation matters
Are you qualified for the position?
Education
Bachelor's degree in safety and health fields preferred
Experience
5+ years related job experience required
Thorough knowledge of safety and health laws and regulations required
Safety management position in a manufacturing and/or production environment strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of managing safety data sheets to ensure compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
