Job DescriptionHealth Advocates Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Correctional Facility in Victoria, Virginia . This is a registry position with our company.Pay Rate: $36 / hour*W2Shift Details:nights 8a-8:30p Minimum Qualifications:At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical NurseMust have up to date credentials in the state of VirginiaA valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)Ability to build rapport with patientsCompassionate and caring demeanorFamiliarity with medical terminologyProficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. LPN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.Job Responsibilities:Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patientsMonitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behaviorCommunicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient careMaintain accurate patient medical recordsProvide companionship and basic care to patientsAdminister prescribed medications to patientsIf interested, please apply through this job post.
