#26-0460Columbus, Indiana, USA Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION: Performs all operations of the bonderizing line to maintain the flow of parts to the cold line pressesEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerforms precise chemical checks on all the bonderizing line dip tanksHas Knowledge of all chemicals used in the dip tanksPerforms 5S dutiesOperates a forklift to load and unload the line with parts and to move, refill line with chemicalsFills out all appropriate paperwork for the lineKeeps the line supplied with and adds chemicals when needed Responsible for keeping the parts properly identified thru taggingPerforms general maintenance on the linePerforms the cleaning of the dip tanks on dump dayResponsible for following all company policies and proceduresMust follow all work instructions pertaining to NDIUses a computer with JDE installed for tracking and tagging of the parts from the lineRequired Knowledge, Skills, Education, And AbilitiesRequires 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.Must be able to do or learn to do chemical checks on dip tanks.Must be able to drive a forklift. Familiarity with outer race part numbers and racking systems is a plus. Ability to work with minimal supervision.Good verbal and written communication skills.High school diploma Must have some general computer knowledgeRequirementsPHYSICAL LIMITATIONS:Lift and Carry: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyStanding & Walking: Ability to stand for extended periods and walk long distances, often on concrete or uneven surfaces and up and down steps.Repetitive Motion: Capable of performing repetitive tasks, including grasping, lifting, twisting and bending. Hand-eye coordination: Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools, and controls and make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls. Fine Motor Skills: Ability to use manual dexterity to operate levers, buttons, and controlsVision & Attention to Detail: good close, distance, and peripheral vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus and ensure safe operations, including reading gauges and safety indicators.Physical Stamina: Ability to maintain focus and physical energy throughout the workday, which may include handling loads, stacking, and organizing materials in a fast-paced environment.Balance & Mobility: Must have good balance and be able to move freely in tight spaces.Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in various conditions including varying temperatures, exposure to manufacturing oils and fluids and moderate noise levels.Note: If you are forklift certified, you will also have to comply with the requirements on the Material Handler Job Description.
