Power Platform Solutions Architect
A global company is looking to bring on a Power Platform Solutions Architect to lead the technical assessment and modernization of an existing Power Platform environment. This is a hands-on architecture role: you'll evaluate the current Power Apps application, Power Automate flows, Dataverse layer, and Power BI reporting, then define — and lead the technical execution of — a target architecture that's scalable, secure, and enterprise-ready.The engagement runs in two phases: an intensive assessment and design phase, followed by a lighter-touch advisory phase supporting implementation.What You'll DoLead the technical assessment of the existing Power Apps application, Power Automate flows, data layer, Power BI reporting, and four integration touchpointsSupport a regulatory data-profiling spike and incorporate findings into the target solution architectureDefine and evaluate costed patch-vs-rebuild options and support the final technical recommendationProduce a detailed, staffed Phase 2 implementation planDesign the consolidated Dataverse entity model and define the workflow and business-logic architectureDefine the target integration architecture across four integration touchpointsConfigure the Entra ID access model for both licensed and unlicensed user audiencesConfigure the shared Azure API Management, Key Vault, and monitoring architecture supporting the integrationsProduce technical handover documentation for the implemented solutionWhat You BringDeep, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Power BIStrong experience designing Dataverse schemas and security rolesAzure architecture experience, including API Management, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Entra ID/SSO, and Azure Monitor/Application InsightsExperience designing enterprise integration architectures, including cases where counterpart APIs or contracts are uncertain, changing, or being migratedExperience integrating enterprise applications with ERP systemsExperience designing identity and access models spanning both licensed and unlicensed user audiencesStrong command of Microsoft Power Platform licensing models, including per-user Dataverse licensing and capacity/session-based Power Pages licensingA track record of evaluating existing solutions and defining modernization, remediation, or rebuild strategiesAvailability to overlap 6 hours with US Eastern TimeNice to HaveSAP integration experience
