This role works closely with the chefs and kitchen team to oversee expo operations, maintain sanitation standards, assist with food preparation for events and parties, manage inventory and ordering, and provide hands-on support wherever needed in the kitchen.The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, fast-paced, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesKitchen OperationsManage and oversee daily expo operations to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality food service (sidework, stocking, etc); Scheduling exposCoordinate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams during serviceSupport kitchen workflow and assist chefs during busy shifts and peak periodsEnsure all food is prepared and plated according to company standardsCleanliness & SanitationMaintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, organization, and sanitationEnsure compliance with health department regulations and food safety standardsMonitor cleaning schedules and ensure completion of daily and weekly cleaning tasksAssist in maintaining equipment cleanliness and kitchen organizationInventory & OrderingMonitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to leadershipHelp receive and organize deliveriesMinimize waste through proper storage, rotation, and inventory practicesEvent & Party PreparationAssist with preparation and coordination of party and catering food ordersEnsure banquet and event food is prepared accurately and on scheduleWork alongside chefs to support prep execution for large events and busy weekendsTeam Support & Leadership Provide hands-on leadership and support to kitchen staffHelp train and reinforce kitchen procedures and expectationsPromote teamwork, urgency, and a positive kitchen cultureStep into various kitchen roles as needed to support operationsQualificationsPrevious restaurant kitchen experience requiredPrior leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of food safety and sanitation standardsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsFlexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysPreferred TraitsStrong sense of urgencyTeam-oriented attitudeReliable and dependableDetail-oriented and organizedAbility to multitask under pressurePositive leadership approachSpanish speaking a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay - $65kHealth benefits - Heath, Dental, Vision - Corbin can review if interestedPaid time off - 12 days PTOFringe BenefitsMeal discountsGrowth opportunities within the companyScheduleWednesday-Sunday 10am-8pmExpeditor during lunch and dinner volumeAssist in other areas during down timesNext StepsMeet with Tom & Aimee to review expectationsOrientationTraining with Sammy/Dave - 1 week
