CNC Programmer / Manufacturing EngineerLocation: Bourne, MA Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour, commensurate with experienceOverviewLooking to take ownership and help shape your role in a growing, fast-evolving manufacturing environment? We are supporting a CNC shop in Bourne, MA that is moving from small-shop flexibility to a more structured, metrics-driven operation.They are investing in higher level CNC equipment and building out a more sophisticated operation. This CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer will be a key player in that transition, owning programming, process improvement, and first article quality.What You Will DoProgram CNC mills and lathes using CAM software (CAMWorks or Mastercam)Create and revise CNC programs to improve quality, consistency, and throughputRead and interpret blueprints and GD&T to ensure parts meet specificationsCollaborate on tool and fixture design to support repeatable, efficient setupsDevelop and maintain setup sheets, program files, and inspection plansSupport operators on the floor with troubleshooting and training on new programsPerform and oversee first article inspections and confirm tight tolerances are metWhat You Bring3 or more years of CNC programming experience for mills and lathesHands-on experience with CAM software, ideally CAMWorks or MastercamStrong blueprint reading skills and comfort with geometric dimensioning and tolerancesUnderstanding of tooling, workholding, and how to reduce setup time and scrapAbility to partner with machinists and leadership to drive continuous improvementComfortable in a growing environment where processes are being formalizedCompensation and BenefitsPay: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour, commensurate with experienceFull time, direct hire with the client companyHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) after one year of servicePaid time offAbout EdgeTech StaffingEdgeTech Staffing is a recruiting partner for engineering, architecture, construction, and manufacturing professionals nationwide.
