Flight Performance Engineer

CopelloBristol, TNL5 SeniorSeptember 22nd, 2026
Overview In this role you will support the performance characterisation, modelling and validation of fixed-wing UAV platforms. You collaborate with aerodynamics, propulsion and mission-planning teams to translate flight data and simulations into performance specs that steer aircraft design decisions. You will build and refine 6-DOF or point-mass models to predict mission outcomes and identify performance improvements. This position offers hands-on testing, data analysis and cross-disciplinary impact in a mission-critical engineering context.
