Account Representative

As an Account Representative, you'll be at the front line of our mission: making sure the people who create music get paid for it, one licensee relationship at a time.What you'll doManage a dedicated caseload of licensees, serving as their primary point of contact via phone, email, chat, and text to ensure accounts stay current and in good standingProactively reach out to existing customers to renew, update, or expand license agreements including identifying upsell opportunities on chain accountsIdentify and resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally, partnering with teams across collections, accounting, sales, and operationsMaintain accurate records and account activity using Salesforce CRM and our customer portal, keeping data clean and communications thoroughAssist with license fee schedules, report forms, and other administrative functions that keep the department running smoothlySupport verification and research functions as neededWhat we're looking forBachelor's degree or equivalent1+ year in customer service, sales, or collectionsContact center experience a plusSalesforce or similar CRM experienceStrong written and verbal communicationConfident negotiator and problem-solverComfortable managing competing prioritiesFluent in Microsoft Office SuiteWhy BMIMusic matters — and so do the people who protect it.
