Job Description: Structured Family Caregiving (SFC) Provider Location: Lawrence Indiana Program: Medicaid waiver program Structured Family Caregiving (SFC) Compensation: Up to $450 per week after taxes Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Structured Family Caregiving (SFC) Providers. This role is unique in that you will be providing care for your own family members, right from the comfort of their homes. As a part of the Medicaid waiver program in Indiana, this position allows caregivers to offer essential support to their loved ones while also receiving compensation for their services. Key Responsibilities: Personal Care: Assist family members with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring timely and accurate dosages. Nutrition and Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals, catering to any specific dietary requirements. Mobility Assistance: Support family members with mobility, ensuring safety and comfort. Emotional and Social Support: Provide companionship, engage in meaningful conversations, and participate in recreational activities to uplift spirits. Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including light cleaning and laundry. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided, medications administered, and any significant observations or incidents. Ongoing Communication: Regularly liaise with healthcare professionals and case managers to ensure optimal care and support for the family member. Qualifications: Resident of Indiana and familiar with the Medicaid waiver program Structured Family Caregiving (SFC). Demonstrated experience or genuine interest in caregiving or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle physical and emotional demands of caregiving. Basic knowledge of medication administration and first aid. Strong sense of responsibility and a compassionate nature. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of the family. Must pass a background check and other relevant screenings.
