Server - Full-time

Server PositionThe Server is responsible for courteously serving resident and guest meals, and for clean-up and resetting of dining room following meal service.Responsibilities include:Assisting residents when placing orders from the menuProviding beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea)Refilling salt/pepper/sugar bowls prior to and after each mealReporting any broken equipment or tableware to supervisorUnderstanding sit-down service and proper serving techniquesHaving a basic understanding of food preparation (salads, desserts, etc.)Knowing proper food storage and labeling techniquesSweeping, mopping, and vacuuming kitchen and dining roomAttending required in-services and staff meetingsCompleting all other duties assignedBeing attentive to special needs of residents including mobility deficits, memory impairment, etc.Assisting with tray serviceFollowing confidentiality policies regarding release of resident informationInteracting in a polite considerate manner to residents, guests, co-workers and supervisorsRequirements:Being in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintaining good personal hygieneBeing able to read and follow simple instructionsPossessing ability to perform simple, repetitive tasksBeing able to learn quickly and apply learned principlesBeing able to communicate effectively and work under close supervisionBeing able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objectsBeing able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a timeBeing able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feetBeing organized and willing to work well with other team membersBeing willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidaysWhy Harmony?401k + Fulltime & Part-time Benefits PackagesTraining, Development & Career LadderingGreat work-life balanceFlexible Scheduling
