Heating & Cooling Technician

Job Description Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable and skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and/or commercial customers. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipmentDiagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systemsPerform routine maintenance and system inspectionsReplace defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and controlsEnsure systems meet safety standards and local building codesProvide clear explanations and recommendations to customersKeep accurate service records and reportsMaintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good conditionQualifications3-5+ years HVAC technician experience preferredEPA Certification (required for refrigerant handling)HVAC certification or trade school training preferredStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read technical diagrams and blueprintsValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces, attics, or rooftopsSkillsProblem-solving and diagnostic skillsCustomer service and communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCompany DescriptionMiami Heating & Cooling is a growing HVAC company focused on delivering high-quality heating and cooling solutions.
