Company Name:ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC.Job Family:Human ResourcesJob Description:The Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic partner to plant leadership, overseeing all aspects of HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role leads initiatives in employee engagement, employee relations, compliance, and workforce development to ensure the facility meets business goals while maintaining a safe, engaged, and high-performing workforce.You'll help shape a positive team member experience, ensure HR programs are delivered smoothly and consistently, and support the growth and development of our people. You'll also guide career development efforts for salaried team members, drive succession planning for leadership roles, and contribute to enterprise-wide talent initiatives. Strong relationships, thoughtful collaboration, and a proactive mindset will be at the heart of your success in this role.Essential FunctionsStrategically partner with operations leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and production needs.Provide guidance on workforce planning, organization design, and succession planning.Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders on performance, leadership development, engagement, and employee relations.Lead recruitment and retention strategies for both hourly and salaried employees.Oversee performance management programs and leadership development initiatives.Lead and coordinate career development processes for all salaried team members, ensuring visibility, consistency, and alignment with organizational capability needs.Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.Support resolving complex employee relations issues with fairness and consistency.Drive team engagement through events, recognition, communication, and feedback strategies.Oversee compensation and benefits administration for all employees.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA and EEOC regulations.Manage HRIS systems, ensuring accurate data/analytics to support decision-making.Assist in change management efforts, including organizational redesign, communication planning, and leader readiness.Efficiently allocate HR budgets, staffing, and department resources effectively.QualificationsBachelor's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).8-10yrs of progressive HR experience, with at least 3yrs in a leadership role within manufacturing.Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices in a manufacturing setting.Proven success in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.Experience with HRIS/ERP systems (SAP, Workday, or similar).Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Seniority Level: Mid-Senior levelIndustry: Motor Vehicle ManufacturingEmployment Type: Full TimeJob Functions: Human ResourcesSkillsDemonstrated ability to build strong business partnerships and influence across multiple levels of leadership.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret talent data, develop insights, and communicate recommendations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to navigate complex matrixed environments.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.High level of initiative and continuous improvement mindset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workday, LMS systems, and SharePoint is preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) - Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, disability, protected veteran status and national origin.At Astemo, we're challenging the status quo with the power of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
