Oracle Database Developer/DBA

Position Summary : ExpediteInfoTech, Inc. is hiring an Oracle Database Developer with hands on administration experience for a Federal Government project expected to commence in October 2024. Support development, operations and enhancements of an Oracle 19c database environment.This is a REMOTE position working east coast hours. Due to government contract requirements, we are seeking candidates who are United States Citizens, located in MD, VA, or D.C. (preferred), TX, NJ, NC, FL, and able to work on our W2 (salary + benefits package). (No 1099 or Corp-to-Corp inquiries will be entertained).ResponsibilitiesDefining database tables, indexes, views, constraints, triggers, stored procedures, and other database-specific concepts needed to store, retrieve, and delete persistent objects, apply normalization rules to ensure tables are structured properly.Write complex SQL queries and query performance optimizations.Work within a structured operational environment and adhere to organizational rules for designing, testing and implementing within a multi-server environment to include Development, Test and Staging environmentsFunction within operation to assist with the maintenance and upkeep installed production-level applications.Required:Strong understanding of working with Oracle databases in client-server environments running on RHEL.Demonstrated proficiency in Oracle database design work to include defining database tables, indexes, views, constraints, triggers, stored procedures, and other database-specific concepts needed to store, retrieve, and delete persistent objects, such as applying normalization rules to ensure tables are structured properly.Demonstrated proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing query performance.Ability to work within a structured operational environment and adhere to organizational rules for designing, testing and implementing within a multi-server environment to include Development, Test and Staging environments.Desired:Oracle certificationsLocated in the Washington, D.C. metro area.US Federal Government project experienceAbout: ExpediteInfoTech, Inc.
