Carolinas Staffing is looking for a Sales Counter Associate in Southport, NC!Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to support contractors, builders, and trade professionals. This role involves assisting customers at the sales counter, providing product knowledge, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth and efficient purchasing experience. Responsibilities:Greet and assist contractors and builders with product selection and inquiriesAccurately process sales transactions, quotes, and special ordersMaintain strong knowledge of products, materials, and inventoryCoordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillmentHandle customer issues or returns professionally and efficientlyKeep the sales counter and showroom clean, organized, and stockedBuild and maintain relationships with repeat customers and trade professionals Qualifications:Previous experience in retail, sales, or construction-related environments preferredElectrical experienceStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentDependable, team-oriented, and detail-focusedRequire lifting, standing for extended periods, and handling materials Requirements:Must pass a background checkScheduleMonday- Friday.
