Production Supervisor / Lead Operator We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor / Lead Operator to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure product quality, and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for coordinating staff, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving efficiency across production lines.The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in manufacturing, process improvement, and team supervision.Pay Based On Experience!Leadership & Operations Supervise and coordinate production team members across multiple machines and departmentsAssign staffing based on production needs and ensure proper coverageMonitor workflow, machine performance, and production outputLead by example on the production floor and maintain a consistent presenceTrain and develop operators and new employeesPromote teamwork and maintain a positive work environmentProduction Management Monitor machine speeds, output, and downtime; troubleshoot issues as neededEnsure materials, supplies, and inventory are stocked and availableCoordinate with maintenance and technical teams to resolve equipment issuesTrack production metrics and ensure targets are metAssist with process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wasteQuality Control Ensure all products meet required specifications and quality standardsConduct and support routine quality checks and inspectionsWork with quality teams to resolve defects and implement corrective actionsEnsure all required documentation and reports are completed accuratelySafety & Compliance Enforce all workplace safety policies and proceduresEnsure employees are using proper PPE and following safe work practicesMonitor equipment and work areas for hazardsLead safety meetings and promote a safety-first cultureRespond to incidents and complete required reportingPersonnel & Reporting Monitor employee attendance, performance, and productivityAddress employee concerns and provide coaching or corrective action when neededMaintain accurate production and personnel recordsCommunicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teamsParticipate in meetings and provide updates on operationsQualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse leadership role requiredStrong leadership and team management skillsAbility to troubleshoot equipment and production issuesKnowledge of quality control processes and safety standardsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentPhysical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periodsAbility to lift, push, and pull materials as neededComfortable working in a production environment with machinery and noise
