Electrical Estimator/PM

We are seeking a skilled licensed Electrician to serve as Project Manager and Estimator, responsible for the management of electrical projects from inception through completion, and ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate holds a Master Electrician License from the state of RI and combines strong field experience with excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.This role includes supervisory responsibilities and participation in project management, project bidding and cost estimation.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepares detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and equipmentReviews plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop competitive proposalsManages multiple projects simultaneously from pre-construction through closeoutCoordinates with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project successDevelops project schedules, tracks progress, and adjusts plans as needed to meet deadlinesMonitors project budgets, controls costs, and manages change ordersEnsures compliance with all electrical codes, safety standards, and company policiesConducts site visits, pre-bid walkthroughs, and project meetingsProvides leadership and direction to field personnel and subcontractorsMaintains clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding project statusQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to safely maintain a high level of performance while working independently in the field and perform each essential duty satisfactorily.High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid, active Master Electrician License for the state of RI required, and must be willing to transfer to Aero Mechanical, Inc. 5+ years of electrical field experience, with at least 2 years in estimating and/or project managementExperience with large-scale residential, commercial, or industrial electrical systems and managing small to mid-sized electrical projectsStrong knowledge of electrical systems codes, industry standards and safety proceduresProven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specificationsExperience with estimating software and project management toolsExcellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of renewable energy systems (e.g., solar installations) is preferredPrior experience working with general contractors and large clients preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. First Aid/CPR certification helpfulOSHA certification will be required.
