We\'re looking for talented teammates who\'ll help us maintain strong teamwork and are passionate about driving results.In this hybrid role, you will report to a Staff Test Engineer, Driving Behaviors.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping metrics and models to evaluate and enhance the performance, safety and scalability of our self driving systemEvaluating new models or methods to assess their performance and applicability to problemsFinding new ways to gather the required data needed to improve our metrics and modelsCommunicating benefits and limitations of new models and metrics to partner teamsIntegrating and deploying metrics and models on fleet-wide dataQualifications3+ years of experience in Test Engineering for robotics, autonomous vehicles, or other complex hardware/software systemsStrong background working with dataSolid understanding of physics, geometry, and dynamicsProficiency in C++, Python, and SQLEnthusiasm to understand a complex system and its various componentsAbility to learn and utilize new frameworks quickly, employing AI tools or otherwisePreferred qualifications5+ years industry experienceExperience building and testing autonomous systemsExperience building ML systemsExperience using VLM\'sCompensation and benefitsThe expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
