Special Education Early Intervention SecretaryWe are seeking an individual to fill a Special Education Early Intervention Secretary position. We expect staff and students to embrace our three key pillars of learning: discovery, educating the whole child, and supporting them with a positive culture and climate.Brief Job Duties: The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:Maintain professional atmosphere and orderly work environment.Greet visitors, staff, and students, and assist as needed with students.Responsible for office tasks: attendance, phones, messages, giving directions, distribution of interoffice mail, reports, memos, records management, agendas, typing, copying, and other clerical tasks assigned.Manages clerical duties for office staff including scheduling appointments, copying, creating and maintaining documents and clerical tasks assigned.Oversees mail system and office equipment.Coordinates all communication related to phones, visitors, electronic communication.Support Student Services and administrative staff with the management data system.Monitors and enters attendance.Coordinates substitute teachers on a daily basis in conjunction with Substitute Coordinator.Supervises entry into the building and monitors students exiting and entering.Certification/License: Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education. Education: Associate's Degree, Bachelors preferred. Experience: Previous clerical training and/or business experience including use of Google Suite applications, Infinite Campus and ability to learn various systems.Live and Work in the Biddeford, Maine Community Located along the Atlantic coastline with miles of beaches Views of the Saco River to its west Less than 20 minutes south of the Greater Portland Area Less than two hours north of Boston.
