Flight Operations Coordinator

Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionAirSmart is looking for a detailed orientated, responsible individual to join our team. The Flight Operations Coordinator will primarily be responsible for scheduling and maximizing flight operations. This role is considered a support role for operations. This individual will have demonstrated operational excellence, and critical thinking skills, and possesses a high level of customer service.This is not a remote position, looking for Las Vegas applicants to work onsite.Point of contact between aircraft owners, clients, and crew membersArrange for FBO services, crew hotel accommodations, transportation, and other passenger amenitiesResponsible for ensuring each flight is operated safely and in compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations as well as Company Policies and Procedures, with respect to aircraft, crewmembers, and airportsAdvises appropriate personnel of potential/actual delays and conditions affecting the safety of flightResponsible to assign crew members to flight assignmentsMonitor crew schedules flight/duty/rest limitationsSchedule and plan domestic and international flightsAssist charter salesResponsible for pilot monthly schedules approved by the Chief PilotCoordinates aircraft downtime for maintenance with the Director of MaintenanceAssemble the International binder for all international trips containing all required documentationPerform other duties assignedRequirementsMust be able to pass an FAA Drug and Alcohol testing, background check and submit to random drug testing when requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageMust have a valid driver's licenseAviation experience is a plus, but is not requiredMust have at least 3-5 years of exceptional customer service experience and a commitment to professionalismProficient in MS Office and ExcelAble to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced, high-stressed environmentStrong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyMust be self-motivated and be proactive in identifying disruptions in operationsIs open to learning new skills and understands as they get comfortable there will be added dutiesAbility to work in a team-driven environment and also can thrive independentlyMust be able to work flexible hours to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as neededEducationMust have HS Diploma or equivalentAssociate's Degree or above, preferred
