As a Fry Cook, you'll play a crucial role in a fast-paced kitchen, specializing in fried foods. Your responsibilities will include:Setting Up and Breaking DownPrepare the frying station by setting it up at the beginning of your shift and breaking it down at the end.Assisting with Prep WorkHelp with food preparation tasks, such as cutting ingredients and organizing supplies.Frying Food to OrderCook food items in the deep fryer according to customer orders.Grill AssistanceOccasionally assist on the grill when needed.Maintaining CleanlinessKeep your work area clean and organized.Organizing the Walk-In FreezerEnsure proper organization of ingredients and supplies.Adhering to Safety and Sanitation PoliciesFollow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.Requirements and Qualifications:EducationHigh school diploma or GED certificate preferred.ExperienceCulinary training or restaurant experience is a plus.SkillsBasic cooking techniques.Ability to operate kitchen equipment (including deep fryers and grills).Food handler's card.Physical stamina to stand for the entire shift.Organizational and time management skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure.
