Showroom Customer Service Representative

*Job Title:* Showroom CSR (Customer Service Representative) / Order Desk *Department:* Evolv Surfaces, Berkeley *Reports To:* Sales Manager / or Showroom Manager *FLSA Status:* Non-Exempt *Hours:* 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday-Friday (Extended hours & Saturdays when required) *Position Summary:* Showroom Customer Service Representatives are responsible for assisting all customer segments including retail, contractor, fabricator and wholesale. You are responsible for providing information about our products including availability, price, applications, limitations, and installation recommendations. You are also responsible for creating estimates, order entry, and purchase order (P/O) processing. As a customer service representative, you will act as the liaison between Evolv Surfaces and our customer. You have an energetic and enthusiastic personality and pay close attention to detail. You uphold the highest standards of service and aim to please customers and resolve any issues with win/win solutions. You are positive, helpful, and know how to listen and clearly communicate with customers. Compensation based on experience. *Showroom CSR Responsibilities:* · Provide world-class customer service in all internal and external interactions · Produce all estimates, orders, and e-mail communication with a Zero Defects mentality · Maintain a professional posture in all phone and e-mail communication · Support all showroom displays and signage (keeping them clean, organized, and up to date) · Assist the Showroom Manager with Price List Updates, maintenance, and distribution · Answering incoming calls in support of the Showroom, Customer Service and the Order Desk · Assist in qualifying all walk-in customers to understand their needs & trade relationships so that hand-off to a salesperson is seamless · Be expert in utilizing all relevant segments within the Stone Profits business management system · Utilize Stone Profits to address Stock Check requests and Sales Order generation / review · Daily support of Showroom Manager, Customer Service, Operations and the Outside Sales team · Internal and external follow-up as appropriate on open orders, payments, credits, and quotes · Order processing, order confirmations, delivery dates, payments, and assuring accurate invoices · Support weekly inventory management & inventory report initiatives as needed · Work with Warehouse Operations on scheduling truck deliveries for orders & transfers · Utilize HubSpot as needed to understand salesperson & account relationships · Be expert in Neolith, Diresco, Natural Stone, and other products sold *Additional Requirements:* · Self-Driven · Positive and Passionate about what they do · Takes ownership and pride of their responsibilities and work · Must be able to multi-task · Detailed and accurate in all work · Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, Stone Profits, Hubspot CRM · Product expertise in Tile & Stone Industry (Natural Stone, Quartz and Porcelain Surfaces) * Perform additional duties as required and/or requested *Physical Demands Requirements:* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. * Candidates may need to sit or stand as needed throughout the day. * Candidates may exert over 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. * May include bending, reaching, squatting, twisting, stooping, and kneeling throughout the day. * Proper lifting techniques are required. *Travel Requirements:* * *Area*: Primary work location is the Showroom at Evolv Surfaces in Berkeley, CA * *Travel and schedule*: Position will require infrequent travel outside of sales area *Organization*: Evolv Surfaces, Inc. *Country: *United States *State: *California *City: *Berkeley, CA *Job Function: *Full-Time Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Health insurance * Paid time off * Paid training Work Location: In person
